Please see the attached FAQ. The Inspiron N15 5050 model that was tested and certified for Ubuntu 12.04 was the version with the Atheros Wireless/Bluetooth adapter.

That being said, the STA driver you reference is, as far as I know, only for the Broadcom 43xx based Wireless controllers and does not support the broadcom 2070 bluetooth controller in any way. That requires a separate driver, which I believe is bnep.

You may want to check and be sure that your system is using the bnep driver using lsmod:

sudo lsmod
