Feedback on the Dell Inspiron 6400

Asked by Alexander Bejarano

Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 but it is not 64 bits as it is written on the site.
I use it with 32 bit version because the system is 32 bits...

The Dell Inspiron 6400 that was certified had a Intel Core2 T5200 processor. According to the specification for this CPU it does support 64-bit. I'm going to assume the Inspiron 6400 you have has a different processor. Please let us know if it is the same so we can investigate it.

Your system is strictly speaking not certified then, as we can't ensure that systems with different hardware components to the one we tested (though they might have the same model name) are going to work. If it works well with 32-bit (which assuming the other hardware components are the same and it's just the processor that is different, there's no reason why it shouldn't) then that's good to know, thanks!
