Regions which Thinkpad W520 have Ubuntu?

Hi,

What region(s) does the Thinkpad W520 come preinstalled with Ubuntu? I can't find anything anywhere on the internet claiming it does other than the ubuntu site http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/hardware/201103-7374

Hi,

Unfortunately only Lenovo has the answer to this question. It is entirely up to them, according to their own business strategy, what to do with the pre-installed image. I know this isn't a great answer, but that's currently how it is.

The short answer is that we really have no control over when or where a vendor sells a system with a pre-installed Ubuntu image. The long answer is contained in the FAQ I've referenced.
FAQ #1717: “Why can't I buy a system with Ubuntu pre-installed on it?”.
