Feedback on the Dell Studio 15

AuthenTec, Inc. AES2810 fingerprint reader does not work! It can not be made to work either by installing more software etc. Canonical must provide a binary driver. Please remove this system from certified.

You can see on this page which hardware functions are tested during certification. As you can see, fingerprint readers are not on this list,
FAQ #1540: “What is tested as part of Certification”.
