Well as i understand. Optimus is not fully working with Ubuntu (hot switch)?
You can however switch in bios wich is good but i think if the hotswitch is not working it is not ubuntu ready cause ubuntu stands for easy use and comfort....

"Optimus is not fully working with Ubuntu (hot switch) " - Is not part of our standard certification programme as this is clearly a specific Nvidia optimisation. Thanks for raising the question, so other users are aware of it.
