Ubuntu Calendar App

Caldav needed

Many users of ubuntu don't want to have to work with google, they dislike it. Therefore many users would be glad to have caldav. Until then, the calendar to me is useless. I do not wamt to share my life with google.
Will there be a caldav-connection ?

it's possible to synchronize you calendar and contact via dav protocol.

Hi, der Hinweis von Slash ist nicht gut.
Es fehlt ein ganz einfacher Zugang zu einem existierenden Caldav bzw webdav Kalender. So wie das zum Beispiel im Thunderbird möglich ist.

Dann könnte ich auf einen Racicale.org Kalender, der in meinem LAN läuft via Dyndns zugreifen.
Das wäre endlich eine gute und einfache Lösung, damit mein Thunderbird Kalender (Lightning) und mein Ubuntu-Touch Mobilphone (BQ Aquarius) einen gemeinsamen Terminkalender hätten.

Sorry, I cannot help with the issue aside to say that for me without Caldav support the calendar on my Ubuntu tablet is useless.

Can you help with this problem?
