Asked by Vasant Sagar

Downloaded and opened Ubuntu weeks ago to replace Windows as my OS..immediately noticed a difference in speed and therefore thought Ubuntu was now my OS..today, downloaded Ubuntu 10 to upgrade and get a message saying "Windows can't open the file"..what is my OS, Windows or Ubuntu?..when I go into Windows properties section for my computer, it says Windows XP..what happened to the Ubuntu I downloaded and opened weeks ago?..basically, I want the new Ubuntu, how do I open the download?..thanks..V

Do you want:
1) A dual boot XP/Ubuntu
2) To wipe out XP and have only Ubuntu

Can you help with this problem?
