Big black outline of UberWriter on ElementaryOS

Just got UberWriter because it seemed like the best markdown application. Works fine, but there's a strange big black outline around it. I'm on ElementaryOS Freya. Here's a screenshot of it.

Same issue on Arch Linux / Gnome 3.
