Quick Header formatting

Asked by Chu

I just noticed that the recent UberWriter (version 12.07.9 on my end anyway) has quick-formatting options for bold and italics. I was wondering if you were also hoping to include "Header" levels using Ctrl+number for people who wouldn't know markdown syntax (such as each # signifying a level).

And while we're at it, would there be a minimal side-panel "Table of Contents" eventually for header level arrangements?

Hi Chu,

shortcuts for formatting are quite high on my priority list (see this bug for reference: https://bugs.launchpad.net/uberwriter/+bug/1037787)

I only added these four shortcuts for now, because I need a more generalized approach as I have now :)

There already was one request for a little file managemen panel, another one for tabbed switching between several buffers.
Headline sorting would also be interesting, and as soon as there is a User Interface element for tabs / file management it should be fairly easy to implement.

But it still might take some time to get there, we'll see!

Best regards,

Wolf
