Is it possible to use user-defined text in main window?

English is not the only language that I use, and it would be helpful if I could define the text for font display. That way I could easily see if some font has all the characters that I need.

Sure. Find the down arrow on the right of the toolbar. It allows you to select the text show rather than having the random text. Selecting "Custom text" allows you to input whatever you want.
