Installation and Tvheadend support

I am new to Linux.
I have 2 questions:
- Is there somewhere accurately described the procedure for installing the script?
- Is the script to Tvheadend work? I ask because the trial run ends with errors "urllib2.HTTPError: HTTP Error 401: basic auth failed". User on Tvheadend and configuration file is of course set up.

"sudo python setup.py install" should do. Then edit /etc/turnoff.conf to enable and configure the different plugins. Unfortunately I cannot help you with Tvheadend as I do not use it myself.

The support was committed in http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~pekka-jaaskelainen/turnoff/trunk/revision/27 from a patch by Chri Dekter. I do not have his email, unfortunately.
