how do I setup PHP email from turnkey joomla? what do I need to install etc? I am using no-ip as my dynamic dns

how do I setup PHP email from turnkey joomla? what do I need to install etc? I am using no-ip as my dynamic dns. Is the PHP allready setup and It can email out how about if I setup a store it needs to have certificates etc...

I can realy see how a turn key appliance can be helpful this mail stuff is a nightmare.

Sorry for the (very) late reply:

Inorder to setup mail support, you need to install an MTA (for example postfix):
    apt-get install postfix

Once that is installed, you should tweak Joomla's Mail Settings for your site in Global Configuration -> Server.
Btw, I have just confirmed that PHP email works without a hitch...
