tp-fan for Archlinux?

Asked by Kasper J.

Hi, I wonder if you could create a package for ArchLinux? Or if it's possible to make a .tar.gz archive which you could ./configure, make, make install, that would be fine. I get confused by having to move all those files around.. Also I wonder if you could add a profile for newer Thinkpads (if there isn't one already), like this one: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ACPI_fan_control_script#ThinkPad_Fan_Control_GTK_GUI_tool

Also I found this powersaver script: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=930459

I'm not sure if it could be integrated to tp-fan, but that would be neat. :)

Thank you very much.

From tpfand 0.94 I provide a Makefile. However the file locations are highly distribution specific, so I guess you have to change the paths for ArchLinux. I myself have to time to maintain an ArchLinux package.

Profiles are added if somebody provides them via the submit function-
