im accidentaly click "hide icon" and cant setup the preferences anymore

im new at ubuntu and im using UBUNTU 16.04 LTS
this is a funny case, i accidentally click the "hide icon" option on icon that appear on right top near the wifi indicator, and i cant make it to show the icon anymore, i already tried to open the app trough the app drawer but the icon not showing, i tried to uninstall and remove the config file and install it again but the icon still not showing. help me please.

it seems i solve the problem, im completely remove the app with synaptic and reinstall it
the app now show the icon and i can set the preference again, this is a great app btw

Another way to fix this issue..

Go to the directory:
/home/your-user-name/.config/touchpad-indicator/

And open the touchpad-indicator.conf file with some editor.

Now find a part:
"start_hidden": true

and change it to:
"start_hidden": false

Save the file, exit editor and restart your system.
Should be fine now.
