TouchPad Working But TouchPad LED not working in HP Laptop

Hi ,

I have installed this on my laptop and its working fine but Touch Pad LED is not working. Its not turning on my HP Laptop with ubuntu 14.04. OS

Please suggest.

This is not a bug. I also have HP netbook mini 110 and 2 other HP notebooks, the touchpad led is only working with Windows, not with linux. Touchpad-indicator has no module to drive this led.
When working, you should have an icon representing a touchpad, When the touchpad is disabled, you would see a cross through this icon, when enabled the cross goes off. added to this, you should see a notification when the status of the touchpad changes.
