Asked by colinjones

Have you any idea how far off 2-way sync'ing might be?

For two way sync, we first need to create / edit notes. This is my focus for 0.4.

Then for sync with snowy / ubuntu one, there's a branch that does it but it'll need to be re-based on 0.3 before I integrate it. If someone takes care of it it'll happen quicker, if i do it myself it'll happen after note editing / creation works.

After one-way sync works, two way sync will need to be thought of and implemented.

To give you a rough estimate, as I'm only working on tomdroid on my spare time, we are talking months away not days away.

Hi,
I use Tomdroid 0.7.1 and I just discovered that the syncing is only FROM Ubuntu One TO Tomdroid and not both ways. I discovered this thread and just want to say I hope two-way syncing is coming soon! :-) This is going great!

Hi Hans,

Tomdroid Beta (everything bigger than 0.7.0) has two way sync included! You can edit notes and sync them back to the Snowy Server (eg Ubuntu One).

However, sync is not really reliable at this stage and might not work. If you discover such a failure. please report it in a bugreport, including your note(s), a log (install aLogcat therefore) and a detailes description of your hard- and software.

Greetings,
Stefan
