Too much disk space requested

Asked by Sergey Slizovskiy

Hello, I have a fresh install of Linux Mint 19, which includes Timeshift. On the first run it has calculated that it needs a disk with 241 GB free space. It seems a bit too much for a clean, empty install... I do not have such space. How can I reduce the demands?
I have reduced the number of packups in preferences, but the required disk size is not recomputed.

I have found a similar question. The problem was that my root partition had my Windows disk mounted at /Windows
Adding it to exclusions list have solved the issue.
