Timekpr on other Linux distributions?

Asked by Riot777

I'm wondering is it possible to use Timekpr on other Linux distributions, how source code is working with Red Hat based distribution f.e. Fedora? Is it possible to compile it? I'm not a developer nor code hacker I just used Timekpr for long time and it's such a great and easy to use app. I would like it not to be Linux distro specific.

Hi, I think I'm (more or less) in charge of the future version of
timekpr, so I am doing offline development of the new version that
won't depend on the OS so much. :-)
I am currently rewriting part of the timekpr "background"
applications, almost everything is rewritten from scratch but the
concept remains the same.
All I can say is that it will take some time, probably a year to finish it. :-)
