How to show client window if icon is not shown?

Asked by Marcin Owsiany

From what I understand from timekprc should cause an indicator icon to be displayed when running. Unfortunately for me (on Debian 12, Gnome 43.9 in wayland mode) the icon is not shown on the panel. :-(

When I try running timekprc from a terminal I only receive a message that it's already running.
I also don't see any way to trigger it via D-Bus (via D-Feet).

I tried installing the "tray icons reloaded" gnome shell extension, but this did not help.

FTR this is version 0.5.4-1 (packaged for Debian).

Well, if you run timekpr from terminal and there are no errors + icon won't display, most likely it is not a timekpr's fault.
I'll check this when I have free time for exactly that configuration.
