How to show client window if icon is not shown?

Asked by Marcin Owsiany

From what I understand from https://mjasnik.gitlab.io/timekpr-next/ timekprc should cause an indicator icon to be displayed when running. Unfortunately for me (on Debian 12, Gnome 43.9 in wayland mode) the icon is not shown on the panel. :-(

When I try running timekprc from a terminal I only receive a message that it's already running.
I also don't see any way to trigger it via D-Bus (via D-Feet).

I tried installing the "tray icons reloaded" gnome shell extension, but this did not help.

FTR this is version 0.5.4-1 (packaged for Debian).

Well, if you run timekpr from terminal and there are no errors + icon won't display, most likely it is not a timekpr's fault.
I'll check this when I have free time for exactly that configuration.
