Enable Playtime does not function
Hi
Trying to setup Timekpr on laptop for grandson to limit time of use and application used. 'Limit configuration' functions work , I see the Timekpr padlock on the tool bar and user is logged out at end of allowed period but I am unable to make the PlayTime function work. What I do is:
1. Open TimeKpr-nExt administration as super user and enter my password.
2. Select Username for limitations to be applied to.
3. Select PlayTime configuration.
4. Select 'Enable PlayTime' tick box - tick appears.
5. PlayTime Limits - select Enabled for all days - all Enabled boxes ticked and select 00:00:00 as Limit time for all days. This should not allow activity to run.
6. PlayTime Activites enter process mask 'five-or-more' and leave description blank. Process name found in System Monitor Process tab.
7. Click 'Apply PlayTime configuration' and message at bottom of window changes to 'Enable PlayTime for the user has been processed'.
8. Close TimeKpr and log in as user who should have process 'five-or-more' blocked (zero time) and select game five or more. Game opens, it is not blocked.
9. Open TimeKpr administration as super user again and go to Playtime configuration to check settings. Playtime configuration and activities retain previously entered information but Playtime options 'Enable PlayTime' box is NOT ticked.
What am I doing wrong? I have tried TimeKpr 0.5.0-1 on Mint20 Mate on laptop and Mint20 Mate and Ubuntu on Virtualbox all with the same results. Tried Ubuntu timekpr-next 0.5.0-1 ubuntu 16.04.1 and 21.04.1 amd64.deb, both had same problem. Tried the Ubuntu timekpr-next 0.4.1 amd64.deb - does not have Playtime function.
Any help appreciated as this application does exactly what I need. I am not a Linux expert but I can enter commands via the Terminal.
Thanks
Mike
