Can some periods be marked 'free-for-all'?

Asked by Ng Oon-Ee

With the prevalence of online schooling, my child has online classes to attend. Having these online classes eat into my child's 'computer time' is demotivating, and as class times are not always the same, simply adding those number of hours to the daily budget isn't an ideal solution.

What I'm looking for is a way to allow usage in a certain time period (say, 9am till 1pm, or schooling hours) which would not count towards the accounts total time. Outside of that time, timekpr would function as it currently does.

Well, that seems doable, not very easy, though.
From application side, I would imagine that there is a checkbox on hour intervals which when checked would prevent time being accounted. Is this what You mean?

However, currently I'm preparing a big release for this project and I'm spending literary all free time to finally finish it.
After I get at least a beta release stable, I'll think about it.

Well I can comment from a UI perspective, there's a few options:-

Option 1
Separate (new) frame to specify whitelist hours.

Option 2
Repurpose the current 'Manage Intervals' to have a whitelist checkbox for each interval.

The 2nd one is probably easier and less cluttered.

Thank you for your consideration, and highly appreciate the time you give to this project.

I'm testing it out now, but just from configuration it seems to work exactly as stated. This will be a godsend for online classes, thank you very much =)
