Asked by arhatt

Hello.
Is there a way to disable client app for particular user? This user is not restricted and he would like to remove notifications and icon from top bar in gdm (manjaro os).
Thank you.

I have thought about this before but didn't find a quick and elegant solution in timekpr itself.

Can You disable startup for timekpr client using Gnome startup applications configuration?

That was first thing I thought about as well, but timekpr-next-client doesn't appear to be there... Although with previous timekpr-client that was the solution.

I'm now in the middle of improvements for timekpr, so I'll be testing all stuff in ~ 20 VMs, I'll try to check what can be done about hiding this using standard controls and if that's not feasible, I'll try to think about custom solution.

Finally found a way & time and I implemented this feature.
In administration application now there's a check box "Hide icon and notifications" which basically does what it says :)

Please check the feature in beta version which will be available in my ppa soon.
