start new terminator as split or tab in existing terminator

Hi
great terminal!
is it possible to start a new terminator within an existing terminator as a new tab or split?

or an extra option, that whenever a new terminator is launched,
it will be opened as a tab or split?

Unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to do that, but it is an often requested feature, so we may well add something for it :)
