Activate current terminator instance

Asked by sandesh247

Since terminator is many terminal windows in one, perhaps when you run a new instance of 'terminator', you want to bring the current one in focus if it's already there. Maybe with a new tab. Maybe (should be configurable, IMHO).

Current scenario:
I use Windowmaker for window management. I have a keyboard shortcut bound to terminator. However, I don't want it to start new terminators if one already exists, just bring the current one up.

This could be classified as a window manager feature, but there are many applications with the "single-instance" mode.

This is technically possible now in trunk since we support multiple windows, but I haven't investigated yet how a single instance mode would be created. Possibly with dbus. I think we need a wishlist bug about this :)
