Feature request: re-wrap text on resize

Often wrapping of lines makes command output less readable. What I do when this happens, is that I make the terminal larger, and then run the command again. It would be nice if already printed text were also fitted to the new terminal size. This is how the terminal in mac os x works, as you can see in this video:

Can this be done in terminator, or must it be done in vte?

If necessary, I can have a look at this my self.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be down to the shell or the VTE widget. The easiest way to find out is to test it with GNOME Terminal - if you can reproduce the problem there then it's very unlikely to be something that we can fix in Terminator!
