Feature Request: Make the TABS active

As a long term user of iTerm (MAC OSX console app), there are two features that would be nice, which exist there:
* the ability to know when a console has 'changed', change color of the TABS subject when there is activity, when there is no activity for a pre-defined period, reset the color to a 'has been active color', and when the TAB is selected reset the color to normal.

* The ability to NAME the TABS manually (relates to loading pre-defined TABS, but should not be dependent on it).

I the most recent versions of Terminator you can rename the tabs by double clicking on the tab title.

The activity monitor has previously been requested and you can subscribe to bug #343616 to see if/when any progress is made on it.

Can you help with this problem?
