Is this still actively maintained?

I just started using this nice program, but found a few issues (like missing Select-All).

There are patches and open merge requests lying around and there have been no real commits to the main branches (trunk, gtk3) since mid 2017.

So this raises the question: Is this project still actively maintained?
Does it make sense to work on merge requests? Is there a chance those would get merged?
