Terminator

Can local files (images/videos) be displayed instantly inside the Terminator?

Hi there,
I was wondering is there a functionality for playing videos inside particular pane inside the Termintor?

I prefer keeping my work flow fluently and organized without pop-up windows.

Not possible at his time, and I can't really see the point. A terminal is a terminal. If you want tiling with images and videos, you should probably consider using a tiling window manager. That way you can tile anything and everything, without reimplementing each and every application in the terminal code.
