Layout Manager Window small

Asked by Jon Briem

I've recently started using Terminator and after a few months of basic usage I'm now in the process of utilizing more of the features that Terminator has to offer. One of them was setting up the Layout Manager which makes life so much easier for me. There is one problem though, every time I open the Layout Manager the window is so small none of the options are visible and I have to resize the window with my cursor to be able to select one.

I've tried using the --geometry option but it doesn't seem to be working, not even for Terminator itself, it always opens fullsize no matter the geometry I specify. Since I didn't find any mentions of this issue in any of the forums here I'm not 100% sure that Terminator is the problem, it might be something with my OS. Unfortunately I'm equally new in the world of Linux as in the world of Terminator and don't have a clue as to what might cause this behavior. I'm using Linux Mint 18.1 Serena

So if this is a problem with Terminator itself a solution would be most appreciated, if it isn't a hint as to what might be the problem or what to search for is also appreciated.

Hi Jon. It's a deficiency in that I (nor anyone else) has taken the time to write the necessary code to remember these details. I do have it on my list of things to do. (see http://terminator-gtk3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/gettinginvolved.html#main-application-development which is just a brain dump of things I thought of.)
