A "Bookmark" menu system

Asked by Bill

Would like to have a "bookmark" menu system which is handy for frequently used commands. Editable and multi-level capable of course so you could have a sub menu for example SSH hosts, system commands, administration tasks.

This has already been requested and exists in the bug tracker as a Wishlist item.
I'm not sure if we'll get to it anytime soon, but if someone is interested in working on it, I'd happily review the code :)

0.93 has a simple way of doing this with the custom commands plugin. There's no support for nested commands, but it's a start.

in ~/.config/terminator/config set:

disabled_plugins = TestPlugin

and you should then get a Custom Commands entry on the context menu of Terminals.

This will change in a future release when the Plugins page in the preferences UI gets enabled :)
