Is "Open Link" supported?

If I have an URL somewhere in a terminator terminal and right click on it, it is underlined and a menu comes. Can I configure what happens if I choose this menu point? At now, nothing happens. I would like to have a browser open that URL.

A variety of things happen when you use the Open Link menu entry.
Primarily it will try to use the external command "xdg-open", and if that fails it will try GNOME's URL handler if that is available, otherwise it will use python's webbrowser module.
