Terminator

(feature request) scriptability

Wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to write a script to load terminator with multiple panes with desired apps in each pane?
For example: I use terminator to monitor my server. I typically split into 4 panes with htop in one, apachetop in another, and tailed logs in the remaining two.
Currently I don't believe there is a way to write a script that would load terminator in this fashion. Pleas correct me if I am wrong.

This is a planned feature for 1.0. We're not exactly sure how it will work yet, but there will be some ability to load Terminator with pre-defined layouts.
