background image

Asked by mock_turtle

to begin with really nice app Chris, thanks.

as far as i see terminator uses most of its configuration from gnome-terminal and i have been using gnome terminal with a background image. i don't know if you have tried but if i split the screen when using a background image it redraws the background for every single terminal and i get a segmented view. its not much of a bug, so i m writing it here. it could be nicer if it had drawn the background image to the whole screen and the newly opened terminals couldn't effect it.

the background image is handled separately by each terminal, we don't currently have a mechanism to add a single background image for the whole window, but it's an interesting point and something we should look at.
