Split into 3?

Asked by Richard Stollar

Terminator is really cool - would be nice to split a panel into 3 ... split-2 and split-2 again does not maintain a nice 3-panel spread when resize. Seems that you remember the ratio in a split panel so resize keeps this ratio (50:50) but would be great to have (25:50:25)
If I knew python I'd try to make this myself but I'm into Java ;)
Thanks!

You don't say what version you are running. When I split twice with 0.98, then resize the panes maintain their ratio. I can drag the splitters for new ratios, resize, and the ratios are still maintained. If you set up a 25:50:25 ratio by splitting and dragging to those positions, then Terminator *should* maintain those ratios when the window is resized.

Looking good. I installed the latest version. If it was possible to freeze a pane size then that would be great!

You mean to ignore the ratio, and lock a pane to a fixed number of pixels? Interesting idea, although I'm not sure how/where you would activate it without overloading the GUI for those who _don't_ want this. If this is something you are keen on, you should add it as a wishlist item (raise a bug, and it gets converted to a wishlist item by someone with the rights).
