Terminator

Right to left languages

Hey guys!
Is there a way to make terminator can show correctly Arabic words?
The default encoding is UTF-8 but it doesn't work.

The word should be like this:
أنيس

But In terminator I got

س ي ن أ

Does the Arabic work in the gtk3 version of Gnome Terminal? They use a significantly newer vte widget. If it works there, you could try getting the early/partial gtk3 port of terminator up and running. (I know nothing about the right-left languages and arabic - it's just a suggestion).
