Hi Chris,

With regards to the above, are you planning on keeping the Terminator name? The reason I ask, I was telling a friend about Terminator and they managed to Google the other project. Doh!

Just interested to know is all.

Cheers.

This is a tricky and annoying issue. I checked all the usual places I could think of for project names of "Terminator" and didn't find the java terminal emulator with that name. I note that they have been going for some time and not listed on freshmeat or other such software directories, so I chose to stick with the name we have.
It's not an ideal decision, and the alternative (i.e. renaming our project) isn't wildly great either.

Ouch, bad luck. I guess calling it terminator2 and bumping the version numbering isn't much of an option either?

Only reason I bring it up is that I noticed that Jessies' terminator doesn't seem to be using any versioning scheme at all...

Uggh. I know I should know better, but I only heard of terminator recently (about 1.5 years after this question) and actually got as far as downloading the svn source from the other terminator, before finding out what I was looking at was completely wrong. :(

I'm not going to ask to rename... (well, i guess I am), but maybe if you guys make a "1.0" release that may be a possible good point? Just asking. Thanks.

Can you help with this problem?
