When typing in grouped modus characters apear double in other split-screen

Asked by Vincent Ouwehand

I am using the latest 0.97 version on KUbuntu 14.04. A problem i am having here is that Terminator works well in tabs and single screen. The moment i use split screen i am fine until i want to simultaneous type in multiple parts of my screen. Whatever i type in the main window gets typed multiple times (twice most often) in the other screens.

This makes the best feature in any terminal client (simultaneous typing) unusable.

I suspect it has something to do with KUbuntu 14.04 since my 13.10 system has no issues at all.

If i can do something to make the issue more clear let me know, i am not a programmer nor extremely linux savvy, but i love using Terminator.

Hi, reading this, it seems to be more of a bug than a question. To create a bug use the "Create bug report" link that should be below this text.

Please see http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html for good advice on providing effective bug reports.
Also see http://gnometerminator.blogspot.de/p/introduction.html for additional instructions specific to Terminator in the Bugs/Problems/Help section.
