Default profile on split or new tab

I have 3 more custom profiles, and one is set by default by changing default layout.
Each time I use split or open new tab, the "default" profile is used. How can I make it use another profile, e.g. the one used when calling split or new tab? Thanks!

Hi Mihnea. As far as I remember this is not a configurable behaviour at the moment. It would have to be a "Wishlist" item. You can use the link below to "Create bug report" and it would be set as a Wishlist item.
