Possible maximize bug?

Asked by Barry Moore

Hello All!

Absolutely love this terminal emulator! Currently running on Arch Linux with KDE. I may have found a small bug and I can't find any information online about it. The link below contains a video of the bug made with recordmydesktop (for reference). The first two maximize are done by `pushing' the window to the top of the screen, third is done with the maximize button, and the fourth is a double click of the window banner. Note this does NOT happen when I try to fit the terminator screen to only half the monitor or if I maximize a different window of any type (that I have noticed). This may be a bug in one of the dependencies? I know this is a minor issue but it drives me crazy :P Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Hi Barry, it looks like a bug, but whether it's in Terminator or KWin I don't know for sure. Or it could be a bad interaction seeing as KWin is KDE and Terminator is Gnome. I suggest you create a new bug, and perform the problem action while running Terminator with -d option, then attach the output to the ticket. If I've understood the only one that is the issue is the push to top to maximise. Also include the link to the video, but also state that it is a dual monitor setup. Lastly mention if this happens when pushing to the top of both monitors, or just the secondary one.

Can you help with this problem?
