accelerator key for adjusting transparency

I'm always fiddling with the degree of transparency based on lighting conditions, how I'm feeling at the moment, etc.

It'd be nice if one could adjust the transparency, toggle it on or off with a few accelerator keys.

Is this possible? Right now it's kind of cumbersome to adjust this.

At the moment this is not possible, but if you'd like to file a bug about it and link it to this question, I'll mark it as a wishlist - it doesn't seem like an impossible request :)
