Toggle Title Bar

Asked by Got Slack

I would like either a key bind to toggle the title bar, or, better, the tab title bar to only appear if there is more than one tab, like Opera's 'show only when needed' option. Is it possible?

This isn't currently possible, but it probably should be. Could you convert this question into a bug report so we can hash out the behavioural details, please? :)

Actually, I have just realised that with 'Show titlebar' disabled, and a new tab created, a tab bar does appear. This satisfies me - I was confused between title and tab bar, and with the terminator_config man page saying that tab_position can be top, right, left, bottom, or hidden, I thought that, since I couldn't see the tab bar even with only one window open, I must have had it hidden (it's actually set to the default - top)!

Would you still like me to create a bug report for that?

Aha :)

I've resisted hiding the titlebars by default, but i could be persuaded to do it for while there's only one terminal open, if it's not too ugly code-wise. Your call :)

Nah, there's no reason to create more work unnecessarily :-)
