Error messages when starting Taskcoach in OSX 10.13.4

I recently upgraded to OSX 10.13.4. When starting task coach I now get an error message "Task Coach File Error". If I close the dialogue it does open the tasks but I am worried something will go wrong. Your latest release is only 2016 so I suspect it will not fix this problem.

The latest stable is 2016, but there are more recent beta releases: http://jeromelaheurte.net/TaskCoach-packages/latest_bugfixes.py and get the .dmg for macOS

Besides seeing if that fixes the issues, you could submit a support request at https://sourceforge.net/p/taskcoach/support-requests

One thing to try is moving the .ini file https://answers.launchpad.net/taskcoach/+faq/1061
