Exporting effort details

Hello-

I'm trying to put my effort details into an Excel document and can't seem to figure out how to do it. I click the subject/task from the main menu, click View>New Viewer>Effort. Effort details is selected in the dropdown. How do I take the information that's displayed and put it in Excel (or .csv)? I don't see any options to export here. Please advise!

I'm not sure if it's possible, but the export function in the File menu includes the "time spent" bit at least. We'll have to see if Jerome has any further insights.

Use the "File -> Export as -> CSV" menu; you can choose what to export in the dialog that will show up.

How do I get each Period (Time Spent) under this task to show up on the CSV? I only see the option for Time Spent (TOTAL) but I need totals for each Period. Just like it shows up on View>New Viewer>Effort>Effort Details.

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do. The export dialog allows you to select every possible column from the effort viewer. Since there is no "Effort details" submenu in the View menu, I'm assuming you mean what is displayed by the viewer when the aggregation mode is "details" ? What column of this viewer are you unable to select when exporting ?
