New efforts are created for the wrong task.

Asked by John Hall

When new efforts were created in previous versions, to my recollection, using the new effort button in the tool bar at the top of effort detail view it was for the task / subtask selected in the task view.
Now the effort is created for a random top-level task that seems may be the first in alphabetical order by title,or may depend on order of entry but does not depend at all on arrangement or selection of tasks.
This applies to both version 1.3.26 and 1.3.27.

Hey Thanks for reading this . I dont' have time to search for bug reports but I had time to enter three rather disconcerting problems. I 'asked' in a way that allows easy bug creation. I hope this helps if it's unhelpful and i could do this a better way such as creating a bug that might be a duplicate then let me know. Sorry I don't have more time.
Thanks, John

The start effort button from the effort viewer toolbar starts new efforts for the tasks associated with the selected efforts in the effort viewer, not the task viewer.

Can you help with this problem?
