Sorting by Priority

Asked by Lee Heuvel

When I sort by priority, it uses the lowest priority of any associated subtasks. So, if there is task that is priority 1 with two subtasks that are priority 5, the task is sorted as if it is has a priority of 5. Is there a way to only sort by the task priority?

No, there is not. The idea is that a higher priority of a subtask overrules the lower priority of the parent task.

By the way, when you complete the subtask with the high priority it is no longer used to determine the sorting order of the parent task.

Oh I forgot, if you put the task viewer in list mode (using the drop down menu on the toolbar of the task viewer) the priority of the subtask should not be taken into account for the sorting.

Can you help with this problem?
