Deselecting many categories together

I have select various categories. How can I deselect all categories together without deselecting each category separately?

There's no way to do that at the moment. You may want to create a feature request on Uservoice (http://taskcoach.uservoice.com/forums/26465-desktop-version-windows-linux-mac-of-task-coach).

Uhm, actually, that is possible: View->Filter-Categories->Reset all categories
