will it import ics file in future?

As summary says. At the moment v1.3.15 can only import CSV and text files (subject only), however it can export iCalendar. Thuderbird/Lighning also exports ics (although it SHOULD do more) which never seems get fixed.

We don't have immediate plans to implement it (I personally have no need for it). You may want to open a feature request at http://taskcoach.uservoice.com, but don't hold your breath: we have hundreds of open feature requests. Please be aware that Task Coach is done in our free time.
