Due date ordering

Asked by David Russell

New User to Task Coach and finding it really useful:
Q: When I click on the Due Date column header three times I get the blue arrow backed in red and the order changes slightly. I've never been able to figure out the difference between this ordering and the blue arrow on its own. Just curious!

Hi David,

When the background of the sorting indicator is striped, it indicates that the tasks are first sorted by status (completed, inactive, active, overdue) and then by the column. If the background of the sorting indicator is not striped, the status of the tasks is not taken into account when sorting. Just try it with a completed task, an active task, an inactive (start in the future) and an overdue task, give them different priorities, make the priority column visible and then click the priority column header a few times.

Cheers, Frank
