SyncML auto login

Asked by Andrea Pavesi

I use the osx version, is possible to auto login at the syncml server without type the password any time?

And at exit? Is possible to auto save the calendar? (without prompt)

Right now you have to give your password on each sync, no matter the OS. That will change in the future; I intend to retain the password over a session so that you have to give it only the first time you sync after launching Task Coach.

I don't quite understand your second question; the dialog that asks if you want to save when quitting if you have pending changes has nothing to do with the calendar viewer. You may want to enable auto-save in the preferences so you'll never see this message again.

Ok, thanks!

But now i have dowloaded a newer version (1.2.24) and syncml as finished to work! Why?

Shouldn't, we didn't change anything to syncML since the last version. Is it displaying an error message ?

At the first launch of the new version of the program it show my a message: "module syncml compatibility problem ecc...." and now not show me this message and the all options and preference relative to syncml is disappear.

Ah. I upgraded Python to 2.6 on the Mac that builds the DMG but I didn't rebuild the binary modules... I'll fix that in the next release; in the meantime please rollback to the previous version that worked for you.
